Black History Quotes by me!

Black History All day, everyday, all the time.

Black History is the true history.

Black History is about black acheivements of the
past, present and future. Past because it is
already history, present will become history
and eventually the future will come and pass.

Black History is all the History.

Whatever aspect of life their is, I always
wonder how the Black Africans did it in the past.

Black History is more than Rosa Parks and Dr.King.
IT’s more than all the lifetimes.

Black History for some is little said little known, but
for me I expand on it and am always learning more.

Black HIstory is way more than the struggle, it’s the
          acheivement. Believe it.

Black HIstory has no limit, it overflows.

WHen it comes to Black History, I teach myself what
they don’t know or what they don’t want us to know.

Black people are the first race and made mostly everything
but treated as the last race.

My Black people, learn our history, know our history
and spread the knowledge of our history.

Black History is everyday. I think its ridiculous to
wait around for one month. Black History is every single
day. Learn something new about Black History. Gain
knowledge while retaining what you already know.
Thank you. Again, all Black HIstory quotes here
are by me.

Black people in Politics ! INkster city Council who live in my same state! (Mayor, council people)

windmill on US flag

I used to work at the Inkster City Council but I DO NOT

work there anymore. My job was being a camera operator.
I basically got camera shots of the city officials and even podium
shots. It was fun, I got the wide shots, close ups, head to waist
camera shots, and even camera shots of the audience. I basically
would try to anticipate on who would be speaking next
based on who the person is speaking too. I would stand up
for 4 hours doing that. It was like a part time job twice a month.
So I definitely put that on my resume.
I remember in  Inkster Michigan, I met the Mayor.
I met the other people there too. I sometimes even directed
the camera operators, but the most of the time I
did the camera operating. But I have left that job
in search for new employment. ANyways,
these are some Black people in politics.

Mayor Hampton is the current mayor in Inkster Michigan
He has served on council for 16 years and as mayor for 8 years.
His term will expire in 2011. I remember he would first pledge
allegiance to the flag, then bang the gavel to get the meeting
started.

Mayor Pro-Tem District V was Mr. Wimberly is an
African American man. He is also the Treasurer for the Downtown Development Authority
and Secretary for Board of Zoning Appeals.

Marcus Hendricks is  a black man who works
as the councilperson in District 11
He is on the construction board of APpeals, Planning Commission,
Brownfield REdevelopment Authority, and his term expires 2011.
He has served on Council for 8 years.

                    Councilperson for District III
is a Black man named Courtney J OWens. He was not there when I was work
so he’s new to this position in INkster. He looks very
young like 20 something.I wonder what age they start
having city officials????

Michael Canty, is a Black man who
has served on Council for 4 years. His role is
chairman for the financial committee.

I wonder what qualifications people need to take on such
roles. I also Wonder what inspires them to take these positions.
There are pictures so you can see who they are and see
who took these particular roles. Enjoy!

My Black people, Here are the Dangers of Microwave food!

microwave

Well we like to use microwaves to warm ourfood. It’s easier than using the stove all

the time. But there are some hidden dangers

to microwaving things. Where are the schools

that teach about this? It’s shameful that

the important things you need to know

are not talked about in school.

A woman had a hip surgery

but was killed because the nurse

warmed her blood in the microwave

for a blood transfusion. Blood

being warmed has it’s own routine,

but is to never be put in the

microwave.’

Also, know that it is harmful

for people to put a baby’s bottle

in a microwave. Even if the bottle

is cool or warm, the liquid milk or

whatever in the bottle could be hot

and could burn the baby’s mouth and

throat.

Also, microwaving the drink in the

bottle can cause changes in the milk.

Say for instance, it’s an infant’s

formula, well it may actually take

out some vitamins. Even in breast

milk, the good and protective

properties could end up being

destroyed. I took a health class

that says nothing bad about microwaves.

So I guess it would be better to eat

popcorn that you put on the stove

rather than they pop up corn in the

microwave. But anyways, I do

remember hearing that boiling veggies

takes out their nutrients. I heard this

from the professor of the health class

I took in college.

But there is an alternative

to warming a bottle. Hold it under

tap water, or set it in a bowl of

warm water then put it on your wrist

to test it before feeding.

So the verdict is that microwaves

changes the food nutrients. ANd based

on studies, microwaving food causes

haemoglobin levels to decrease.

Microwave cooking causes

deterioration in both the blood

and immune system. Situations like

this make me wonder, what else is not

good for you? The way the spray

chemicals on food and the fattening

stuff in it.

I would love to see more African American roller skating organizations, movies! Here is a video on youtube of OUR BLACK people skating!

Get out your roller skates andget on the floor lol. Skate like

Vivica Foxx did in the movie SOul

Food. Show your moves.

Well you know what? IT’s been a while since I even

roller skated. I miss it so much. I got

to get back to a roller rink. I’m there

in my mind. I feel like I’m going to

do a spin on skates and twirl around

like a professional figure skater

except on roller skates.

Everybody who reads this might already

know about the black Figure skater

Surya Bonaly, but if you don’t You

know this second.

I wish there were more movies on African American skating.

I know there are 2 or a few but there should be more.

I would love to see more black roller skating teams.

We need more organizations like this.

I think that SWV’s song’s

Weak is the perfect song to skate to,

though there are many.

See the youtube video of OUR BLACK people roller skating outside:
