Psalms 27 , verse 11: Teach me your way, O Lord, lead me in a straight path because of my oppressors.
Everybody is not liked. God is there to help especially when your enemies are plotting and scheming.
Proverbs 4:14, Do not follow the path of wicked people or walk in the same way as evil people.
That is so true ofcourse, You can specifically apply this to people who experience peer pressure or have friends doing the wrong thing.
Proverbs 9:9
Instruct a wise man and he will be wiser still, teach a righteous man and he will add to his learning.
It’s important to be wise, I say too. Plus,
I apply this to my life because I go beyond what school teaches. This is how I got my Black History knowledge. I plan to learn enough about black inventors and black history that I will have my Bachelors of Black History Degree.
Proverbs 11, verse 4 says Wealth is worthless in the day of wrath, but
righteousness delivers from death.
Basically, wealth can help everything
when things are messed up. Wealth can’t
help the wreck that’s in the person.
Proverbs 17:22
A cheerful heart is good medicine,
but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.
Basically happiness is good for your health.
I guess basically watch comedy and be around happy people. Anger can stress people out and give them high blood pressure.
Proverbs 19:15, Laziness brings on deep sleep, and the shiftless man goes hungry.
Think about this. People miss out sometimes when they don’t get up in the morning.
If I sleep in I could miss breakfast because there’s a certain time to get breakfast on campus.
Proverbs 20:19 A gossip betrays a confidence, so avoid a man who talks too much.
People’s personal lives should not be broadcast because they need privacy.
Anyways, gossiping could lead to trouble,
and broken friendships.
Proverbs 21/verse 30: There is no wisdom, no insight, no plan that can succeed against the Lord.
Basically any math/science cannot stand up to God’s power. God can make things happen a different way.
Proverbs 27/5
Better is open rebuke than hidden love.
Secrets can destroy unity. So at least when people know the truth, they know what they are in for. What person likes going into something blinded?
Proverbs 24/14
If a man loudly blesses his neighbor early in the morning, it will be taken as a curse.
My deduction on this is that it’s trying to brag about the person. Also, if someone was shouting a blessing in a loud tone, sometimes it can be taken as sarcasm.
