Freerice.com a free way to donate to less fortunate hungry people

There are normal Japanese rice mixed with

A site with the needs of people in mind… A site

set up to benefit poor people in this money run world. Yes, that’s

what makes it a site that deserves many awards. That site is

www.freerice.com

and sponsors 20 grains of rice for every

word you define correctly on the site. It only starts off as 20

grains, but the 20s grains add up as you keep defining

words correctly. You can get to the 100s, 1,000s or beyond,

just depends on the time you put into it and the amount of

words you define correctly. Its an easy game. You help

and you learn at the same time.

Also, on the site they count the amount of grains you

donate as you define each word.Plus, they have an area where you

can see how many grainsof rice is donated in total combining yours

and the rest of the people on the site.

Again, the site is:  www. freerice.com

United Nations (three-legged chair)

  1. (This is the united nations 3 legged chair. THe United Nations is an
  2. organization that has goals to help world issues like feeding the

hungry, helping the enviornment, etc. THerefore, they support

the same causes www.care2.com supports)

Ever wondered about the most convenient way to help a great cause?

Well now you have it right at your computer screen. There is a site where you

can click and sponsors donate to each cause you click for. THe site has a place

where you can click to help stop global warming, save baby seals, save big cats,

save the rainforest, stop violence against women, etc. You can also sign petitions

and make your own. In addition the site has an area where you can blog,

make polls, make your own webpage. So there’s plenty of stuff to do.

You can have fun while you helping at the same time. That’s what the

site is like. Plus, when you click for causes, they send you a butterfly

in the email as a way of saying thank you. Not only that, they will

show you how much you have helped when you go to the drop

down under “Click to donate” and you will see” My Click to donate”

You will see how many people and how much land and how much

you have helped for things. So this site has advantages on making

the world better. Its assortment of things to do on the site makes

it stand out from other click to donate sites and there are some

more. OH, and then the bonus is-you send a free e-card

from the www.care2.com and you save one square foot

of the rainforest. What a superb and neat idea!

Here is another volunteer site with more click to donate sites info:

Well, we have all heard of volunteering, but the sites

where you click to donate to end world hunger is relatively new to me.

I know still some people don’t know about the sites. Yet, I have

found a site on the internet that you click on the icon and sponsors

donate food, water, education time and loans to poor people. You

just need to click on each so people can get all 4 of them. The

site is:  www.ripple.org

At that site you can click up to 4  times a day.  But its best

to click everyday because when you click everyday you help

everyday. Once, you click they will take you to a page

where they explain how you helped by your click alone.

It’s an easy way to donate. They don’t ask for money,

food, or supplies- just a click that makes the biggest

difference in someone’s day.  Simple.  I’m glad in the

fact that they eliminated the money excuse. Materials (icons)

to help are there. The way to help is there. So now people who

don’t want to go out, can help right from their house. I’m so

impressed with the click site that through rain, snow, and

bad weather as long as you got internet access, you can help.

There’s not a person in this world who can’t get on a computer

and click and I applaud all the people who do help though whether

they click or donate money.

Part 2:Why its important to do volunteer work

” Many or even small good deeds can take people to great heights in life”

(So the picture represents the uplifting of people who are in need.)

(All the blue links are clickable and will take you to the site)

Youthnoise.com is the site I found out about where they talk about issues

about being poor and poverty. ITs sad to see a world where there are people who sleep outside.

Nothing to shield them at night. Scary nights filled maybe even with nightmares.

NOthing to protect  them from the cold weather. Them wondering, why they were

chosen to endure such a life. There is a such thing as homeless shelters. Why are

there still homeless people? I figure that there’s not enough homeless shelters

in each city. People don’t want to walk the longest mile for places like homeless

shelters. They need one that’s convenient and in the area. You know how long

it would take some people to just walk to a homeless shelter if its far away?

IT could take so many hours. Think about the people with no direction.

That’s why its so important to help those homeless people before they

die out, before they get sick. SInce some people just don’t feel like

getting out to do volunteer work, here are the easiest ways to help

those poor people.

        1. All it takes to help them without leaving your house is to go to the site:

http://youthnoise.com/page.php?page_id=2242

One click to help donate money to those people. Simple. Made easy. Click

on the link at the bottom with the girl holding up the sign. It says Just one

click. Then it will take you to the pie chart and it says “Click here to make

a difference”. You can also take action by joining the site for free.

They have a contest where you have a chance to win $25,000 toward

a project to stop youth homelessness or even learn more about it

through fact sheets, videos, downloads, etc. But this site has more than

just poverty issues. THere are animal rights, life, religion, enviornment,

government issues and more. THey have debate areas and message

board areas.

The Hunger Site

There is another site where if you click sign up and give more link

on the site, they will give the hungry people 2 cups of food.

This is the url for that:  http://www.thehungersite.com/clickToGive/home.faces?siteId=1&link=ctg_ths_home_from_ths_home_sitenav

I found a fun site where you can learn while helping to feed the hungry. The thing

they ask you to do is to tell what the word means and they give you 4 multiple

choice answers to choose from. For each question you get right, 10 grains gets

donated to feed the hungry. So the more questions you answer right the more

the hungry gets. You can answer as many questions as you want. ITs not

limited. You learn words while helping the homeless from your computer.

THe site I”m talking about is this one:
