This data was collected from Caucasians
between 15 and 39 in Atlanta, Georgia,
Connecticut, Detroit, MIchigan, Hawaii,
Iowa, New Mexico, San Francisco,
Oakland California, Seattle and Washington,
Utah as well.
IN white women, the melanoma cases
increased by 50% from 9.4 cases per
100,000 women to 13.9 cases per 100,000
THe increase of incidents in white
women getting skin cancer in the USA
parallel the increase in tanning salons.
