African American Dyke Robinson created an invention called Digibots to address inappropriate classroom behaviors!

Pencils 1//embedr.flickr.com/assets/client-code.js

The world is full of problems-health problems, social problems, money
problems, etc. I mean there’s even problems with children in school.
That’s why African American Dyke Robinson comes in. He created
this toy to address inappropriate behaviors in the classroom
for school age children. Bad classroom behavior are the main causes
why classroom instruction does not occur. His goal is to make his product
ready and available to every child on the planet. He wants
them all to have a copy of the Digibots CLassroom Adventure series.

He includes a Digibot Teacher in the series, along with
students: Kelsey, Shelby, Lisa, Lee, Hong, and Jason. This world
changing concept addresses problems in the classroom such as:
cheating, name-calling,disturbing other’s property, speaking
without raising your hands, wandering around the classroom,
tardiness, turning attention away from the teacher, fighting
wild laughter, sharing, and inappropriate tasks.

Digibots was designed with schools, churches,
daycares, home school facilities and/ or parents, grandparents,
and people trying to take charge in a learning enviornment.
Children 4-8 year old age range and different backgrounds
really love the stories because they consist of creative
thinking, discussion and participation. In addition to that,
this book is colorful and the 7 characters are placed throughout
the stories to keep the child’s attention. Also, the series has
a behavioral curriculum that can be used in grades K-3,
which gives children additional information that is needed
during the learning process.

Robinson, who is the founder and creater of the
product, has a Master’s Degree in Guidance and Counseling
and is highly dedicated to helping children function
properly in the classroom environment.Robinson says he
believes that Digibots will one day change the classroom
enviornment for all children, on the world stage. “Kids just
love the Digibots” he says.

I mean this sounds like a great invention. Have you heard
of it before today? This reminds me of my quote, if you’ve
got a plan, put it into motion.

African American Jemiah Battle Inventor creates Heart Detection Bracelet to Prevent Heart Attacks!

What is one of the top thing we humans must look out for? Okay,

take a guess. If you guesses health, you would be right.

Based on AMerican Heart Association’s findings, heart disease

is the Number 1 killer for all Americans and stroke is also the main

cause of death. The statistics for African Americans are more serious with

44% OF MEN AND 48% OF WOMEN having some form of

cardiovascular disease. Jemiah Battle states” Something had to be done. I have

suffered many losses with family members and friends, decided it was

time to get get busy and invent the life E Bracelet, which saves lives in

real time and promote self care.

Battle, author, transformational emotional life coach and CEO

of VK3 Innovations, has been working diligently to change the world with

his emotional fitness workshops.  Battle says “MY company specializes in

bringing  life changing products and innovations of the market in a bid

to improve, safeguard, and enhance one’s health and mental well being through

self care. The goal is to create awareness, through information, about heart

disease in the black community: and how minorities, especially women, are at

high risk or stroke or heart attack through education. I think the Life E- Bracelet

can help save many lives, brings mindfulness to stress, emotional health, and

wellness.”

He most recently received a patent for the first of its kind. The Life E

Bracelet, the innovative bracelet provides a wristband for monitoring

vital signs to help alert users to the risk of an oncoming heart attack. This

bracelet/wristbandincludes a digital display monitor and various sensors to

observe your blood pressure, pulse, stress, and other heart related readings.

One of the main features of this design is the ability for the band to

light up in various colors to show different levels of heart rate/blood pressure.

The band  illuminates in red, yellow, green, and blue in order to notify its

user of what to do. The band is able to  let the user know when their blood

pressure is getting to a dangerous level and/ or they are at risk of a heart

attack. The device also has a wireless notification system to alert family or

emergency contacts of a very special situation. The wristband is amazing

because it’s adjustable, in size, to help different individuals.

Get involved please. Your donations support cost of revenue,

research and development, sales and marketing, general and administrative,

etc. I shortened this article, but this article is worth reading at its original

site. I love the features of this invention. It is very much needed today.

It is convenient. It will save a life. So go ahead and spread the word.

Fats Domino, aka Antoine Domino, Jr. is a black man that is one of the inventors of rock n roll!

Well, black people have a legendary history of

inventing things and spicing things up. Take Fats

Domino, for instance. He is one of the inventors of rock

n roll with this songs “Aint That a Shame ” I’m Walking, ”

THe Fat Man” and his version of “Blueberry Hill.”

Antoine bangs on an old upright piano.

In the past, he  took piano lessons and loved them

so much that he quits the 4th grade to play the piano

more. Domino, who has played some neighborhood gigs

with saxophonist Robert Hagans, plays piano at his

sister Philomena’s fish fry, and meeets BIlly Diamon, a

bandleader.

Mr. Domino begans his own band at the

Hideaway CLub on Desire Street, two blocks above club

Desire. This is where he had played with Billy

Diamond’s band and also intermissions for David

Bartholomew’s band. Bartholomew and disc jockey

Duke “Poppa Stoppa” THiele, signs Lew Chudd to his

label.

Domino headlines the biggest shows in rock n roll

history to date. The artists Domino headlines over are

Chuck Berry, Buddy Holly, the Everly Brothers, and

Jerry lee Lewis. Fats dominoes tour dates attract

so much attention because most venues had never had

white people and black people in the same audience.

Fats said the band would, at times, have to go 100

miles out of their way to find lodging that would take

African Americans. This and more, you will learn at this

website:

I strutted around town in my Egyptian costume on Halloween ! (Pictures inside)

20161031_184313

I Tamarva, have always loved Halloween. The main reason

I love Halloween is because I get to dress up. I love, love, love

to dress up. So this year I ordered an Egytpian costume. This

costume comes with the multi-colored jewel collar, the black

and gold dress, the gold belt, and the wig.I bought the Egyptian

headdress separately. I also got the lipstick and eyeliner. I didn’t

wear the face stones until a few days after. I was not able

to duplicate the eye of horus around the lining of my eye.

I didn’t wear the fake eyelashes. I was not able to find the

perfect shoes for the outfit until I stumbled upon Payless.

I went into that store and saw some fine shiny black shoes

with a wonderful slant to them. They were $25.99. It costs

me over $50.00 for the outfit and accessories. Oh, and

Happy Belated Halloween! I was supposed to do this

post earlier. Peace!DesiSmileys.com

Black Girls Workout Too review

http://media.photobucket.com/user/nora2biz/media/adjustable%20dumbbells/weideradjustabledumbbells.jpg.html?filters%5Bterm%5D=dumbbells&filters%5Bprimary%5D=images

They always talking about the obesity rate of black women.
We need to hear about the fit black women. Black women need to
see the optimistic side of black women who workout. I
personally work out every week. I want to get back to
working out 5 times a week. Black women Workout Too is
the dvd I workout to. They do jumping jacks. They lift
weights. They twist their bodies. But it’s fortunate, I’m just
glad they don’t have any push up workouts. Those are strenuous and boring.
They work their legs, lifting their legs and arms. There
is one segment where one woman lifts her legs, one by one toward the
ceiling. IN this same segment ,she’s on her knees
and lifts her legs. Then,She’s on her back and touches her legs.
She lifts her butt so her legs goes straight up. Overall, this
dvd works out your arms and legs. The women in this
dvd touch the floor, bend their arms at an
angle as they lift weights and do countdowns. It’s
a very inspiring dvd. The excercises move right along.
You would have done 45 minutes of it in no time. I just
repeat the other excercises when the dvd is done so I
can get in a total of 60 minutes of excercise. I’m so
glad to see some beautiful black women representing
true fitness. I know people say it’s okay for black
women to be thick, but I’m black and thick ain’t
for me. I love the slim and trim look. Peace!

Betty Crocker shows you a different way of cooking in the cookbook Cooking Basics! (great book)

Betty Crocker's Cookbook 1975

I stumbled upon a book called Cooking Basics, a
Betty Crocker edition. It introduces you to the
cooking tools and the herbs and
what kinds of foods their used for. The have both
illustrations and terms of pasta that goes together.
Then, they go over food safety and cleanliness. The
book’s presentation is sky high good, on the very best
level. They have recipes I have never tried and some
I have heard of. They have salads for the health nuts
and the people wanting to lose
weight.

They list the ingredients, the prep times, the full
time it takes to cook the dish, calories and tips
all together on one page. The tips are highly informing.
The spaghetti with marinara sauce says that the
sauce may look ready to eat afterheating to a boil.
Yet, the longer you cook it over low heat is needed
to develop the flavors.

With Fetuccine alfredo,it says use a fork to lift one
strand of fettuccine and press gently against inside
of the Dutch oven. This pasta should be tender,
not mushy.IF you don’t have some of the ingredients
listed for the dish, they list substitutes. Those
are just a few of the tips in the book.

This book has recipes like garlic smashed potatoes,
lasagna, macaroni and cheese, pumpkin pie, mousse
cake and other delicious desserts. As for other foods,
the book also has recipes for grilled
pork chops,meatloaf, taco casserole,lemon chicken
stir fry, Dijon chicken, Roasted chicken and potatoes,
veggie lasagna, rigatoni, chicken and spinach stuff
shells and much more. Now, I just pointed out some
of the foods I like spotted in the book. If you
want to know about more of its recipes, buy it,
borrow it, or get it from the library.

There is plenty of information for you to collect
from this book. There is plenty to keep in your mind
and see displayed in your cooking.
I would recommend this book “Cooking Basics” for
those on all cooking levels. I just got this book
because I’m a beginner cook. I know how to cook hot dogs,
french fries, and an egg, but that’s all. I want to
learn the recipes in this book and do a takeover.
I want to cook food I enjoy and that others
enjoy. I want to experiment with cooking and see
what special touches I can figure out based on this book.
